    The Lake Eunice Compost site is CLOSED as of March 2025. Residents can bring compost/brush to: Cormorant Township Compost Site 14628 Co. Hwy 1, Lake Park, MN Lakeview Township Compost Sites 23003 Mill Pond Drive, Detroit Lakes, MN 23434 130th St, Detroit Lakes, MN Please follow signage and be respectful keeping piles out of the roadway. No plastic bags or plastic pots — compostable items only. No tree stumps.

  • BE AWARE — Wild Parsnip

    Monocarpic perennial herbaceous plant that grows up to 4' in flowering stage with flat-topped, broad clusters of yellow flowers blooming June through late summer. WARNING: Avoid skin contact with the toxic sap of the plant. Wear gloves, long sleeves and long pants. The juice of wild parsnip in contact with skin in the presence of sunlight can cause a rash, blistering, and discoloration of the skin (phytophotodermatitis).
